Oxford English Dictionary Online PR Campaign

An online PR campaign to promote ‘Challenge Oxford’ a viral quiz used to promote the 2008 Oxford English Dictionary.

We seeded the quiz via editorial features and competitions focusing the campaign particularly at students and older, educated web users.

Promotional activity appeared on The Guardian, Funky Fogey, BBC History, Music  & Wildlife, Garden’s Illustrated, Focus, Sky at Night, Studento, Student123, YouGofurther & Revision World.

This was purely an online campaign and as a result of the above activity the quiz has been played over 17,000 times to date.
