Working with Disney as part of a wider sponsorship deal with car brand SEAT, Galactus developed a destination website and broadcast sponsorship ident for summer blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Main aims were to drive adult users to enter the website competition, driven by completing a test drive at their local SEAT dealerships. In addition users are also directed to the site via a variety of online ad formats we produced that sit on the main Pirates of the Caribbean franchise site.
Creatively, one of the biggest challenges was to ensure that the website complemented the Disney & SEAT brands. However we also had to avoid mixing brands and be very clear that there was a separation.
Key objectives are to drive the SEAT brand message ‘technology to enjoy’ and to highlight the features of the SEAT Alhambra MPV, amongst other SEAT models, that can be navigated via a dedicated SEAT product page within the website.
The site also features, downloads, a desktop countdown widget, SEAT Alhambra driving game and a watch and win competition linked to a SEAT TV commercial.
Throughout the campaign sign off was required at all stages by SEAT, Disney Studios and Disney Channels.
