The Forgotten Legion is a male focused, trilogy of books about the tattered remnants of a once huge Roman army fighting for lives.
Main objectives were to provide a launch pad for this new trilogy and debut author reaching fans of historical fiction and raise awareness of a new voice in the genre online.
Utilizing the book jacket design, this site was produced with a film-like intro designed to engage historians as well as the Gladiator/300 fan base aiming to make them feel like they have entered ancient Rome.
The site also features an interactive map that follows the journey taken in the series which opens selected extracts that will be extended as the series progresses.
To promote the site we ran an online PR campaign with the aim to drive sales and sign up through reviews, newsletter inclusions and competitions across targeted 3rd party sites. Click here to see examples: TFL PR
