Cherub Widget
Client: Hachette Children's Books
The CHERUB and Henderson’s Boys series of books has an enormous fan base and Galactus were asked to produce a widget to act as reminder to fans about new releases, book tours and driving them to visit the official site member’s area.
CHERUB is set in the modern day and Henderson’s Boys is set in the 1940’s so we added the option for users to switch sides reflecting the individual look and feel for each series.
Creatively the widget interface focuses on a tin that opens to reveal gadgets, books info, countdown timers and author Twitter feeds. We also developed a bespoke editing tool so the client can update the news sections that also flags up alerts on the widget homepage when new content is posted.
