Very Short Introductions Facebook app

Very Short Introductions are a vast series of introductory books to almost any academic subject area aimed at those who want a quick way-in.

Rather than producing a standard, catalogue based website we came up with a website and Facebook application that centres on a quiz posing the campaign strap line ‘Where is the gap in your knowledge’.

Quiz questions include a number of categories featured in the VSI series and the end result of the quiz provides you with a list of suggested titles you should consider purchasing to help fill that knowledge void.

Main objectives are to introduce students and general readers to the series in a fun, laid back way, and the facebook application will be used as part of a wider online promotion later in the year accross a variety of social networking and student focused sites.
